The Shire of Cunderdin is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified person to fill the role of a Manager of Works and Services.

As Manager of Works and Services you will take overall responsibility for the organisations infrastructure requirements. You will foster a customer service focus, a positive team culture, a cohesive relationship with the Council and the community and provide a basis for efficient planning and delivery of services provided by the organisation.  You will develop and lead the goals and objectives of the Shires infrastructure as set out in integrated plans, budgets, and capital works programs. You will be accountable for the Shires human, financial and physical resources within the Works and Services Department.

Ideally, you will have experience in and have intimate knowledge of the workings of local government. Additionally, you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable) and have relevant senior management experience as well as a sound knowledge of road construction and maintenance and the outside operations of a rural or small Shire.

A performance based 3-year contract will be negotiated within the range of $124,541 to $141,566 inclusive of a cash component of $95,000 to $110,000.

Casual Creditors Officer

Shire of Cunderdin

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced community minded person to join the Shire of Cunderdin in the Administration Department as a Creditors Officer.

An attractive employment package is offered with a cash component of $47,683 pro-rata (based on Level 2-3 depending on experience) plus statutory benefits and other allowances in accordance with the Local Government Industry Award 2010 and Council Policies.
