Young people and children play an important role within the communities in the Shire of Cunderdin and there are a number of organisations run specifically for them.

Cunderdin Playgroup

Run every Friday morning (excepting school holidays) from 9am to 11am at the Cunderdin Playgroup building at 44 Lundy Avenue, Cunderdin. For contact information please see the Community Directory.

Meckering Playgroup

Run every Friday morning (excepting school holidays) from 9.30 to 11.30 at the Meckering Primary School in Knight Street. For contact information please see the Community Directory.

Cunderdin Youth Council

The Cunderdin Youth Council is an Incorporated Committee dedicated to providing opportunities and social outlets for the young people living in the Shire of Cunderdin.

A relatively new organisation, the CYC has raised funds to provide a Skate Park in Forrest Street, Cunderdin.

They are also in the process of starting a Youth Centre and will be running a variety of events and programs aimed at allowing young people to enjoy and participate in the local community.
